Pearl's Baby metal print by Dawn Boswell Burke. Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The high gloss of the aluminum sheet complements the rich colors of any image to produce stunning results.

Pearl's baby was one of our first experiences with baby rats. We had started rescue and wound up with four pregnant rats resulting in over 30 babies. Playing with these babies, watching them grow and caring for them was a wonderful experience and provided a great venue for photography! Pearl was the best of the 4 mothers. She was unafraid and ready to get out and play herself while I played with her babies. But she was still a wonderful mother. We remember her fondly.
About Dawn Boswell Burke
I am co-founder and President Emeritus of The Rat Retreat, Inc. I love animals, particularly domestic rats, so they show up in a lot of my work. I live in the Pacific Northwest now, am southern US born and have lived in 7 states. I could easily pick up and move anywhere. I don't much care where I am as long as I can get near some water and am surrounded by trees, rats and birds. I graduated from WSU with a major in Communication and minor in Fine Art. I followed that with 2 more years of art courses at BSU and local small classes. Currently I am focused on Mixed Media Collage. Houses and rats are two current themes in my work.
